hey,
I have the Asus A7A266 DDR mobo and whenever I use the DIP switches to set the multiplyer to 11.5 and boot I get a message saying "Invalid system disk, replace and press any key", but I don't have any disk of any kind in the floppy drive. I then put the multiplyer back down to 11 (1.466GHz) and powered up and it loaded everything just fine. I really want to reach over 1.5GHz on my 1.2GHz AXIA Athlon and this problem is annoying. I know I can switch the boot order around so it doesn't try to read the floppy first instead of the hard drive but I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions before I waste my time to write an email to Asus that will probably not be responded to like always.

Thanks,
-Mark

I have an ASUS A7V and get the same problem when I overclock a little too much. The invalid system disk is actually your harddrive. I can only put it down to this, the CPU is coldest when you boot, so it manages to get through the BIOS, but cannot read from your boot sector cause it gets too many errors when the CPU starts to heat.
Maybe, I duno for sure, but when I drop my speed down a bit it works fine.

I have the A7A266 and a 1.2 athelon also.
Be very interested to hear your solution when you get it up to 1.5
Keep us informed!
