This is something awesome that I found at the Asus forum. This is for all of you guys that own the Asus A7A266 w/ 10 DIP switches that when used to adjust the multiplyer, you lost the ability to change the FSB and Vcore though the jumperfree mode in the BIOS.
Heres what you do:
Turn Jumperfree mode OFF
Set DIP 10 to ON
Set your multiplyer
Set DIP 1-4 to the correct default manual FSB
Set DIP 5 to OFF is using DDR SDRAM, to ON if using SDRAM
Boot with that and make sure it POSTS and has the correct Multiplyer.
If it does shutdown and change the jumper that is set to jumpermode to JUMPERFREE mode. That is all you change.
Now boot up enter the BIOS, now the Multiplyer you used on the DIP switches will be the one the BIOS has and is greyed out, but now you can change the FSB and Vcore. Finally!!!!!
I just did this and when I finish posting this I am off to restart and get my 1.2 AXIA up to 1.5 since I can increase the voltage since It didnt have enough voice to get past 1.466 with just the DIP switches.
Tell me if this helps,
