Asus A7M266 and the clock multiplier

I ordered the AsusA7M266 Revision1.04 with the impression that the CPU clock multiplier was included.
I'm getting the impression that I was misled, fooled and tricked! What in Hades is up? Why did Asus resort to"bait and switch" or simple false advertising?
Anyways! Is there a way to solder some kind of dip switch (where it's supposed to be!) onto the board to enable this function?
