Asus A7m266 NEED HELP with CPU

Alright this is a dumb question but how the hell do you install the CPU? It drops in perfect no resistance then when I pull down the lever it only goes about halfway then stops like there's something stuck, It's in the right way but the lever won't go down. This is my first time so I don't know how much pressure to use, I don't want to break it off. And I don't think it makes any kind of difference but I'm installing a Tbird 1.2, 266.

It will somewhat stuck in a middle of the way,
Make sure you CPU is seated properly, ONLY THEN keep pushing te lever until it locks (don't go to hard though)[4][/4]

Yes It's seated right but goes down about 1/4 of the way, until the damn lever starts to bend. So I'm not sure how much pressure to use.

OK I did It, I thought the lever was gonna break but it went. I did'nt think you used that much pressure.
