Asus A7N266-e probe not working right

I just got my new board and installed it and installed the asus probe monitor and it says the cpu temp is 40c all the time and never changes why is this and how do i fix it
the bm(chip set) temp is 35c and does change about 2 degrees c up or down so i know it works
i when it to the bios and look at the temps and it said 32c on the chipset and 35c on the cpu after that i whent straight to windows and asus probbe said 32c on the chipset and 40c on the cpu
whats wrong

i have backed the fsb and multiplier back down till it is fixed

i am at 1.33 on my athlon so ignore the overclock below

Yep. I have to agree with you. ASUS probe is not giving the correct temp. I just booted up, Probe gave 40C. restarted and went to the BIOS hardware mointer, the temp is now 35.5 and slowly rising. Humm...

yeah it always says 40c
what monitor are you useing now beside asus probe

Motherboard monitor

DL motherboard monitor, it works well. Though it does not have the history features of ASUS Probe.
