Hello all,

I just have a simple question. I'm thinking of getting an Asus A7N8X nForce2 motherboard and was wondering if the BIOS let you change the multipliers? It's such a new board I wasn't 100% sure and I just wanted confirmation from someone who already has it.

Thanks,

With the current BIOS, you can only raise the multiplier. If you lower it, the PC will not POST. I had to connect the last L3 bridge on my 2400+ to get lower than the 15x default multiplier.

I am betting that a new BIOS will fix this.
