Asus A7N8X: Does it support all AGP speeds or just 8x?

I cant figur out for sure, even after looking at asus.com wether or not I can run a 2x AGP card temporarly until I get a good 4x or maybe even an 8x AGP card.

It maybe supports all speeds , but it is incompatible with 3.3 volt cards,same for any nfarce based mobo, same for other AGPx8 mobos.

The bios has an agp 8X enable disable item. If you set it to disable your card will run in 2X mode. If you leave it enabled it will run in either 4X or 8X depending on what your card can do.
