Does anyone know the appropriate PLL-IC setting for Asus A7V-E in SoftFSB ? Or isn't that one supported ?
In other words - what PLL-IC does Asus A7V-E use ?
Thanks.

Soft FSB has been discontinued as a point of task of it's own uselessness. If any board is uncapable of doing overclocked speeds, it won't have jumpers or BIOS settings to do them anyway - as such Soft FSB would be futile.

Remember that the A7VE is no overclocking board - it's a budget board based on a chipset that is honed for performance at two bus speeds and two bus speeds only.

I've had my 800 stable at 1100 on that board :p
Even if it's not designed for overclocking, I will be overclocking - the whole point of SoftFSB for me, is easier overclocking. The FSB frequency dipswitch is placed on a stupid place - you have to remove your cdroms in order to access it. (In my case at least - with a miditower.) That's why I wanted SoftFSB.
Thanks for your input tho :)
I found some IC's that could read my correct FSB, will it harm anything if I try to set my fsb with those ?
Thanks.
