I am returning my 8KTA3 due to the problems I am having getting it to ramp up to 133 MHz FSB--see below threads for that discussion.
I am replacing it with an A7V133. I understand that it has dip switches that set the multiplier and voltage for the initial boot state rather than reading it off the CPU like the 8KTA3 does.
I am currently trying to determine whether the A7V133 has a 2 or 3 phase power solution. One of the good things about the Epox 8KTA3 was the 3 PPS, as that is supposed to help greatly with compatability with Palmino and Morgan when they arrive.
Can anyone provide any insight into this? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
