What do you guys honestly recomend? Some people say DDR is great and others say its crap. Some people say its crap becuase it cost to much, but really I think the prices are quite resonable for a 256mb pc2100 stick of DDR. I want to above 1.3ghz if posible, was looking at a 1.13ghz AXIA for 180$, could both boards take me to the wonderful gig and a half range??? Any advice welcome!

To be honest with you..I would do up a normal SDRAM system..Im my honest opinion, DDR is not "mature" enough yet, and it is not much faster than Sdram.....

Ok thanks for the reply bud. But if money really wasn't the issue, becuase it looks like its only going to cost me 50$ more, the motherboard is little more expensive and the ram is little more expensive, and I'm willing to pay it... Is SDRAM still the way to go? plus this board has 2 DDR slots and 3 SDRAM slots, so if DDR hits the shithole I could always use regular SDRAM to??? Thanks for your input!

go with DDR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 256mb PC2100 Crucial $79.99 ....... A7A266 motherboard $130........

Sandra memory banchmarks scores

PC 150 ~ ALU 570 at ~155mhz
~ FPU 680

PC2100 ~ALU 700 at ~155mhz
~FPU 900

You tell me... You don't see significant increase ??? Those are the approximate specs I recently saw ...

Yea price difference is not that big with the two setups, probably less then 50$ difference, btw where is this board 130$? Cheapest I found was newegg.com for 135.
