Asus EEE PC 900A Refurb $179.99

Hey there mwave.com has the Asus EEE PC 900A for $179.99 its the 1.6GHz atom, 4GB SSD, and 1GB of ram. Not a bad price and i've been seeing alot of threads lately with people looking for netbook. This is a great deal for people who couldn't get the Dell Mini 9's while they were $179.99 refurbed either. This is also free shipping too. so a good price if all you need is something to couch surf and to take notes in class. Personally I think these are better than the Dell Mini 9 because you can use full size mini PCIe SSD rather than the half minis which have weak sauce performance. 16GB full size mini PCIe with 90MB/s Read and 55MB/s write are like $55 on the egg. So unless you plan to hackintosh i'd go with this for linux/windows pc.

the one that was on sale on woot.com was the older 900MHz Celeron. The one that was on mwave.com was the Atom. lower power consumption.

Damnit, I saw your post was from yesterday and knew it wouldn't be the EEE but I clicked it anyway... Xbox 360 with 20GB HD for $140... Woulda bought 3 of them if it wasn't sold out
