I have an Asus K7V mobo/ 650 classic slotA/ small 6 switch GFD/ 256meg PC150 Corsair/ Alpha P7125 cooler and a little extra time and I need some instructs how to OC this thing.
I have played around w/ the freq. setting in bios and I'm only able to get it up to 103--anything higher won't boot (any suggestions?) I've bumped the core V up to 1.85 with no success getting it any higher.
Thanks much

i asume that u have cracked the case open on your slot a to get your gfd on the pcb , once u have done this set your gfd multiplyer to (6.5) speed of your cpu (Stock) at 100 fsb = 650 mhz, also set stock voltage for 650mhz also ,see if your pc will post and boot into windows , if does shut down and try 7.0 multiplyers and keep raising it untill she will not boot, then back it down to the last multiplyer u were at and was able to get to into windows, see how she runs if not stable rthen try to raise your voltage a bit, u might have to set your cache setting to 2/5 after 750 mhz. , i think anything after 900mhz ya have to set your cache to 1/3
u should get bios 1008 for k7v then ya have a chioce of cache settings, hope this helps a bit.... also ya might wanna get good case cooling by adding a few fans too
