just got a cusl2-c. The temp readings under load for my c600@1015 retail hsf default voltage now average 66C!!! No problems with heatsink being off center. I had a soyo 6ba+111 (dead after 2 years of overclocking service RIP)that ran this same cpu at 1053 1.8v at 48C full load. What gives? I remember having the same problem with p2-99.

I hope your temps are wrong! you should touch the edge of the HSF and feel how hot it is if its a 66C you'll barely touch it and it will either burn you or you will feel the heat before you get close, do you have a good thermal comound? not sticky tape. Is the HSF lapped? sounds like you know what your doing so i dought thats the problem but thought i'd throw it just in case, you have a nice overclock it would not hurt to get a better HSF the cost is nothing compared to getting a new proccesor after frying it and a cooler PC is a happy PC

I traded in the cusl2-c for an epox bx6 and memory. My alpha just arrived and I am back at 1053 and 1.8v. Temp under full load is now 45C ambient 34C.
I guess I have to change my sig now. Thanks guys.
