I'm thinking about getting a slotket and a P3-700 and overclocking it to 933. I've been looking at an Alpha PEP66, but I'm not sure if it'll fit.

Where do you measure from to see how whether or not and how many DIMM slots will be blocked? My old Katmai P3-500 is still installed.

It looks like 933 is pretty doable with a P3-700. If an Alpha won't fit, will a Golden Orb do the job? or what else would you suggest?

A golden orb is bigger than an alpha, and does a really bad job, they just look cool. To measure, measure right from the slot... or right from the plate of your processor.
