I think that the Dip switch(es) are the only way to adjust Front Side Bus on the P2B. Uhmm..maybe the only way to adjust FSB is with jumpers? Sorry, it's been a while. The processor's multiplier is set in stone, unless you have a PII 300(?) or PII 350(?). If I remember right, a few early PII's weren't Multiplier Locked.

The real hassle with OCing the P2B is that it won't let you adjust Core Voltage. Nevertheless, you can adjust the Core Voltage of original Celly's and PII's. To do so, you must prevent certain combinations of the VID pins(among the 121 pins that run along the bottom of each side of a Slot 1 Celly, PII or Slocket) from touching their opposite "numbers" that are inside the Slot 1 "trench."

I don't know if adjusting the Core Voltage on a Slocket makes pin taping unecessary. It would be great if it does! Pin taping is a dangerous procedure, because if the insulation fails on any one of the masked pins, your CPU is instant toast.

If you don't have it, I suggest DLing the P2B's manual from http://www.asus.com , or http://www.asus.com.tw .
