checking for a friend and I don't know jack other than it is a via apollo A chipset so I guess anythign will work with teh 694x chip. Anybody have this and know highest setting it has in the bios. I was thinking 6x133 for 800 or 7x133 for 933.

it depends on the hardware version of the mother board, the earlier one is able to go to 166,and a later version only goes to 150, the bios wont change that.....there should be absolutely no problems at 133

for the newer one,,Its 7x133, 933 is the higest supported that I know of and the higest my bios lists..but the board does go up to 150fsb, so thats a plus....Ive got a P3 700@1053 running on this board, very hapy with this board

so a 750E wouldn't work on this mobo? 7.5x100! I don't get it but I am going to Asus's site right now.

There's someone who has a p3-1000 cD0 in his. He was using the 1006.003 bios AFAIK, so I think this board can take anything you give it.... except AMD and Tulatin! :)
