Im trying to increase my FSB on this board and in the bios it want let me change the clock multiplyer....I have a p41.7 ghz processor and i want to increase the bus speed. It will let me go into manual mode and select 1700hz but it want let me change the multiplier.....any thoughts as to why....thanks guys...i know someone knows the answer to my problem....

P4 1.7ghz
Asus P4B MB
512 pc133 SDRAM
60 gig maxtor HD

Intel locks the multiplier so unless you have an engineers sample the only way to oc is to up the fsb.

Ya thats the only way to do it fsb up it by 5 mhz each time n see if windows starts ok then test it i got my fsb @122mhz right now

bring it up slowly while burnung it at each increment. mine's running at 125.
