so i sent my mobo out RMA on Feb 4th, and i had just entered ASUS and RMA in the search function to find out how others made out with ASUS, how long it took to hear back, etc...

the board went dead (systemfailed cpu test...) after pluggin in a USB camera, and not wanting to wait, i bought the motherboard in my sig...

anywhoo, waiting for the search to come back, theres a tapping at the door, and what an amazing coincidence, i look out to see a FedEx dude holding a box with ASUS tape wrapped around it...

so i opened it up and checked out the paperwork, and it simply states the serial # of the original board, and the # of the replacement board, no explanation or anything

im not quite sure what to do with this thing now, i love the MaxII i have, maybe invest in a celeron or 2.8 pressie and clock it up for a second computer? or just ebay it and recoup my cash?

is it likely that this replacement board is new? or "factory refurbished"?
