i don't use pc probe much ...
but for the past two days i've had it running just to compare it's numbers with motherboard monitor ... which i like cause it puts my cpu and mb temps in the system tray.
lately, pc probe had been giving me cpu temp errors and i look and it reads 256c for about 2 seconds and then goes back to idling around 41c. i don't think this is accurate ... probably a wierd math error or something cause throughout, other tools like motherboard monitor will simply stay pegged at my normal idle temp of 41 or so.
sometimes pc probe does this with other sensors as well ... like the motherboard suddenly throwing an alarm and reading 300c for a second and then back to normal idle temps.
again, all my other monitoring tools sit quietly by watching this oddity and so i'm not too concerned ... besides, if the temps were accurate then i'd be on fire.
anyway .
have any of you seen similar strangeness from pc probe? i don't use it much anyway but was curious ...
