I'm stumped and i cannot decide. I like the striker however someone told me something about Srtiker's PciE's are 8x or something so i'm totally confused.

striker is full 16x on both lanes as is the eVGA, I would go eVGA 680i at this point. the price of striker isnt justified

well im probably gona actually start building after vista comes out so i can wait. but 400 for the motherboard on newegg?!?!!? this morning it was like 270 or something..

Agreed, I picked up the BFG 680i board for 249.00 at my local bestbuy. So far this board is a blast, with almost unlimited oc combinations.

Well both boards are very good...if you're willing to give up the money for a little more bling, then go for the asus...me, the tight budget guy, would go for evga

well considering the striker is ment for those with phase and such. with all the voltage options, if you plan on air or water go with the evga or bfg. both will be fine as they stick to the ref. design from NV. asus has decieded to design there own 680i boards as well as abit. i got a evga 680i sitting here waiting to be used but im waiting till after tax return to get started.
