I don't think so. Sorry for the late reply, I must have skimmed over your post a dozen times.
Nvidia's drivers, I certain, do not support extra features cards may have (other than twinview, that seems to be enabled with their drivers).
There may be a way to update but still keep the Asus drivers for the feature(s). I'd try contacting Asus or browse their website.
