AT&T and 3Com modem

I'm getting AT&T cable this saturday, and I got 3Com Office Connect cable modem. My friend told me that it's going to work with att. Any one have any experience with this combinatoin???

Sorry, I can only tell you that the Motorola 3100's work fine. No experience with 3com modems, just kick-*** NICs
