even if you don't get the mail in rebate back you can't beat a great wireless g router for 55 bucks. linksys routers are over 80 bucks last i checked.

range is pretty good. i was able to keep a 48mbps signal anywhere in my apt and even kept to 25mbps outside about 50 feet away sitting on the chairs in the courtyard just outside my apt.
