First I want to thank all the people that responded...
I feel like with your help that "we" have put together
a killer system....Iwill KK266,1.2Ghz T-bird,512megs
Crucial PC133,Maxtor ATA/100 30gig HD,Plextor-
CD-RW,HitachiDVD-CD-ROM,Matrox G450 video
card,Entec SX1040 with 400watt ps,Thermal Right
SKC with Sunon fan....Just one more nagging question for you guy's...The cost of going with the
Epox 8K7A and using the DDRram seem's negligible
given the price tag thus far...Question...Will the performance gains going with the Epox and DDR be
worth it???....ie...the ATA/100, is it fast enough to take
advantage of the ddr ram...ect.ect.ect.

ATA100 is not directly linked to the performance gains of DDR. That said, a 1.2 GHz Tbird w/DDR is probably as fast as a 1.3 or 1.4 GHz Athlon w/SDR. So, yes, if you are building a new system DDR is definitely worth it. If you are upgrading then it depends on how much extra it is going to cost you.

That's the main reason I ordered the A7A 266. That way I can use my Sdram till I get some good DDR ram.
