Athlon MP in XP board>?

Just wondering, I have a good deal on a 1900 MP processor. Can I use it in a Soyo Dragon + mobo?

If the board will run an xp it will run an mp, cause they are basically the same thing, (except the mp has an extra code for smp), and the multiplers are unlocked
