Hello, I'm not sure if its the card its self or the drivers, I updated to new drivers and still the same issue. My moms friend came over and she has a little kid who plays runscape or whatever? But it kept crashing when he loaded it and there was a black screen for a few seconds, then it recovered and the game was just plain black? Not sure if its a card issue but I thought it might be related to the other problem.

I haven't tried after the new drivers but when I played Test Drive Unlimited 2 or Crysis demo (the worst) it has severe flickering. Its just horrible! For GTAIV or FARCRY2/BIOSHOCK2/HOMEFRONT it gave me a great gameplay with no problems, but as I turned up the settings the flickering just became horrible for Crysis, I'm not sure if its the game its self or the video card. FARCRY 2 runs on the same engine I believe and I didn't notice any problems but what are your thoughts? I'm getting a new MOBO/CPU/RAM in the mail soon so going to do a fresh re-install of Win 7 64bit but not sure on your thoughts.

Issue solved apparently the drivers caused most of the issues.

There are a lot of problems with these cards... most of the time the drivers are to blame, that being said you can't really overclock them through AMD overdrive tools. I'd try either system restore until before you updated the drivers. Or is you're experienced with OCing GPUs... I had to use MSI Afterburner and custom BIOS using Radeon RBE... DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WILL VOID YOU WARRANTY.
usually, however, I've noticed that turing on or off Vsync in games will fix flickering issues. play around with that before you OC the card.
