Hi

I would like to know the scores of an ATI 9800Pro at default settings 380/680 in 3DMark 2001 (default bench) because i think my score is not so great.

Mine is 16200 (2.2ghz - 200FSb)

Tnx

hmm
how many watt is your psu?
did you go into bios and make sure all the settings are set right?
also did you install lastest motherboard drivers as well?
your score seem low for ati radeon 9800 pro..
you should be able to hit much higher than that.

Jup all checked mate

Latest bios update
AGP 8x etc..

What do you mean with the watt of the psu.
Is that the watt of the powersupply ?

If so, do you need a greater powersupply for this card to get a max performance?

Before i had 14000 3d Marks with an Geforce 4 Ti4200 Oced at
315/Memory 360

Now only 16000 with an ati9800pro and the problem is that i can't overclock this card very well (Hercules Prophet) .

The highest oc i reach is 427MHz core and a 375MHz memory,
with these settings i only gain 500 3dmark so i'm letting it at default.

Tnx again

change all your gl & 3d settings to preformance . check what your memory timings are in the bios , ive never used a NF7-S(Abit forum hinthint) but if your timing is anything other then 2.2.2.5 or 2.2.2.6 change it. look for settings like aggressive/turbo. disable anything you dont use "ie serial & paralle ports". theres alot of crap in the bios & in windows that nobody uses & leaving it enabled only slows you down. check out sites like tweekhound & links from there. try it out & let us know. good luck & happy tweeking.:D

I do all my 3dmark tests with Quality settings. no AA/anistro of course. For the weirdest reason... and I dont have any clue. I get lower scores with the settings on performance, and higher with quality.

Its not a huge margin... maybe 200-500 points, still very odd.
