Ok, time to delve into the realm of Drivers -

Listing of all programs needed to run ATI (sanely) -

Your Original Setup Disk - Came with card
(Personally, i know that if you are running multi-monitor system, you MUST install this in order to make full use of the features.)

Anyone feel like any more needed? Maybe a listing specifially with drivers and such for each card?

maybe youve just had bad luck? the only thing ive ever needed to use was Powerstrip to oc and either the Ati drivers or Omega plutonium drivers if there are issues

I agree with funny above, never had any issues on my 4th card 5th weill be 9500 pro and I always use powerstrip never a hic cup

Dunno what ya meen BlackMajic...all i need is The Cat 2.3's and Rage 3d to OC this card, Powerstrip is a bunch of crap, rage 3d is much better.

All I use is Rage3D Tweak (for OC and tweaking) and newest Catalyst. Everything runs pretty fine with my 8500.
