Had problems with hardrive had two remove software for AIW 9600 all was not removed still shows up as being in the add remove area but not listing any size. Cannot get it to reload any of it while, while it still play games I cannot get TV to play or Cd's to play need help before it drivbes my to drinking.
 
What type of OS are you running if it's windows xp try useing system restore and pick a date before you started having problems but be warned it will not save any recent software loads after the date of the restore point
 
I'm running XP PRO have tried that already, have been working on these small problems for about a week, they are still listed I'm reading a back PCMAX the Idiot's book I'm new at all this when i started they they where still using punch cards then I didn't touch, one of these things for just a few days.

Thats what I had to do for my 8500AIW, what a pain.

Im running MCC 8.5 I hear there are problems with 8.7
 
You might try downloading the freeware app "Reg Cleaner" from Web Attack- it will allow you to remove the software reference from the Add/Remove menu as well as the registry entries, then you'll have to remove the files manually.

I followed the normal path when I installed the Catalyst 3.9 - I uninstalled the drivers fist, rebooted, then installed the new drivers. Works like a charm...
