ATI to release a new card in ~2 months

According to insiders @B3D, ATI is re-spinning the R350 core @ .15 to outperform the NV35. Higher clockspeeds, and faster ram, along w/ more core optimizations. This is in addition to the R420 that will be a high-end .13 part, to be released in the fall of this year.

I heard about this...thats why I passed on the 9800 pro! This will be my next card.

Very nice. ATi just keeps pushing the limits of the .15 micron core far beyond what nVidia ever thought was possible. Its like a big slap in the face saying "You said this was impossible...you were wrong"

Thats awesome. I love ATI so much. Releasing all of these new cards drives the price down on the 95's and 97's so we can all upgrade soon. The only prob. those of us who already have them wont get much in return value, but I'd rather have performance than return value anyday.

I heard about this...thats why I passed on the 9800 pro! This will be my next card.

my logic is to go and get the 9800 when this comes out so its cheaper....

My logic is to go out and get the fastest card on the market...no matter how expensive it is....then oc the snott out of it to get the best performance possible. he he Yup! I like to go fast!
