9500 pro if you're looking for out of the box performance. Supposedly the 9600 pro should be slightly cheaper though, and overclock really well. I'd say the 9500pro before they're all gone, but I'm kinda biased.

Yeah I'd probably go for the 9500Pro too but the 9600 can overclock a lot if retail cards are the same as the ones the reviewers got. The 9500Pro beats the 9600Pro in most things with stock clock speeds on both cards.

9600, if I'm not mistaken, is based on a .13 micron die.

Which means, Super overclocks without the need for 50 fans on the video card like that certain card in the video card modding gallery o_O;;
