What happens to the performance of the "fast system" if you put the 4x4GB kit in there?

I haven't tested it specifically, but have to assume it was good as that was my original build. I moved out the 4x4 as it was never 100% stable and I would get errors of the magnitude of one every week to month. I didn't notice any performance drop when I switched to the new kit.
