Audigy 2 and overclock!!!

Could anyone help me out or at least shed some light on this if you have dealt with this problem? I bought an audigy 2, and anytime the card is in my system I cannot keep my fsb running at 250 using the 5:4 ratio (I have an abit IC7)

When I take the card out, it works fine overclocked.... I have the basic IC7, not onboard 5.1 and I need to have this sound card but I hate the fact that my cpu isnt overclocked anymore. I have tried bios flashes, Creative drivers, and even put the card in a different PCI slot with no success. If anyone could help me out please please do so, I really need to get my pc running back up to oc speeds since I just started gaming again .

oh man, i thought you where trying to OC your sound card...could it be the pci bus that is causing your problem?

Nope PCI bus is running fixed at regular speed.

Ive heard other people having a similar problem, not sure if its just my card. Ive had this card for quite a while. I just gave up after a a week.
