I have the Audigy 2 card but decided I would like the Audigy 2 Drive also but I cant find it anywhere except on the UK Creative site for sale. Does anyone know where to find just the drive and remote as an upgrade to the sound card online? Your help is most appreciated and if this is in the wrong section, sorry. Hard to figure out where this thread goes ie: sound cards , general hardware, here? Oh well thanks again.

Audigy 2 Drive?

Occasionally you can find them on ebay. Usually some guy that doesn't want the drive sells one. Nothing more than that. Typically there is about one sale per month. And, i'm assuming that creative doesn't sell them seperately because it would cost them more money to sell them alone. Just ask yourself though, do you really need it? I wanted to get one too, but i dont need it.

+-Well the reason I want it is for the headset hook up so I don't have to unplug my Z-560's everytime I want to have a voice convo. All the ones I have seen either are ugly or dont come in black or doesnt have the headset plug-ins. The Aud2 drive looks good and I can get the black faceplate for it aswell.I am a very cautious person and rarely purchase from Ebay afraid I'll get *****ed and with a limited money supply ,I really don't want to get taken . Thanks Pinky but with my non-musical background I really dont have a clue what u mean by hooking up a mixer. Or what exactly a mixer is? Also didnt want to clutter up the desk no worse than it already is. TY for all comments I just dont know why it is that the UK can buy it but the US can't.

Get one off ebay if you really want one.
http://www.harddrive.com sells the black cover for $20. It'll add to the cost but it's just a suggestion. You could always paint it too. Do a search for Audigy 2 in the search menu and it should come up.

Well , I fixed my problem. After doing a search on the use of multiple sound devices I decided to enable my on board sound for the headset. Works great, all I have to do is change the device I want to use in the sound properties. I never thought about it until trdsw20 posted and looking at the link it hit me to do a search on using multiple sounds not exactly the answer u gave me but it lead me to the answer.Thank You trdsw20
