Audiophile 2496 + IRQs

Well i installed my 2496 card to my
p4t-e 1.8a n/w with 512mg ram
and to my suprise
latnecy issues evrywhere
through card shuffling and BIOS
I got the 2496 on IRQ five alone, EXCEPT for some ACPI IRQ holder for PCI steering.....

Well i removed ACPI
but still listed on IRQ 5
are
Audiophile 2496 AND
IRQ Holder for PCI steering....
(without the ACPI)
can i get rid of this or is it a
necessary evil?

btw
im using Windows ME
an suggestion woudl be appreciated
i ihave heard of people with much weaker systems geting almost twice as
low laencies as mine
mine are only click free around 20+ms!!!

You cant remove that. If you want to move it to another IRQ disable you com ports and remove them in the device manager and that will free some up. You can force them if you wont go.
