How can I find what USB version it have my motherboard?

I have a CD-RW that uses USB but it seems to write on low speed (x4) which means that using USB version 1.1.

I thought my mobo has v.2..

i dont believe it supports usb2, i have the E ver and it dont have it. look into getting a pci card for usb2. btw what speed does usb2 run at?
