Awww yeah the GeForce 3 at my local store http://www.markonecomputers.com took a nice price drop. (Visiontek one) Used to be $379.00 and now it is $362.00. Makes me happy as I will buy a new PC sometime soon once I have all the money.

But can I find it cheaper anywhere? If anyone could tell me that would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know...I have a hard time seeing a big difference between $379 and $362. I think you should reconsider before dropping that much money on a card. When the Radeon II, Kyro III and other cards hit the market Nvidia's prices are going to drop through the floor (because I'm fairly that both the RII and K3 are going to blow the GF3 away). Not to mention the GF3 Ultra will be released. THAT will be the time to buy. If you ask me, if you lay down money for the GF3 now, rather than waiting 2 months, you are just asking to get burned.

Competition is a good thing! :)

I got my GeForce 3 for $275
Think I was fool hearty?
as for Kyro 3 and Radeon 2...think the Radeon2 will be any faster to go along with their "Truform" techology?
The Kyro 3...let's just hope their smart enough to put T&L in there and jack up the core and mem like hell.

If you get one then buy it online... tax is hell. As far as waiting, that's up to you. Right now everyone is saying "Wait for the GeForce3 Ultra, or the Kyro3, or this or that".... then when those come out everyone will tell you to wait for GeForce4 or whatever else is the "next big thing". I say buy what you want... I got a GeForce3 and I'm extremely happy with it (though in all fairness I wouldn't have if my old card hadn't died).
