what would a good fan be for the ax-7? i need max cooling but something with adjustable speed so maybe i can catch some zzzzzzz's at night.

Rheostats are devices that allow you to fine tune the speed of the fan. I too have an AX7 with a delta 80cfm...can't stand to use it. Delta's use so much juice that the standard rheostats that you see at sidewindercomputers.com can't handle them, as they mention on their site. (Go ahead and go there to see what one looks like, though)

I personally got Hoot to make me a powerful enough rheostat to handle the Delta 80, 'cause I don't own a soldering gun. :D

I think Delta *should* sell powerful rheostats standard with their fans. Nobody likes their noise levels, but their performance is great, even turned down a bit.
