I think I got another bad overclocker

my old 1.8a mangaed only 2.4 with 1.75v and later died of snds

this 2.0 managed to boot perfectly into windows the first time at [email protected]

however it wasnt prime95 stable

even with vcore up to 1.7v it wasnt prime95 stable.....in fact later it refused to boot up in bios even with 1.7v

grrrr

and I have great cooling...the uberlarge swiftech mcx4000 with a powerful papst fan

full load temp at default speed and vcore is 37 degrees

argh

Im gonna get myself a new mobo, Asus p4s533 doesnt do the job good enough

yeah welll, i cant even run my own friggin comp stable at no overclocl. ITs really ****ing me off, i think im going to sell it on ebay.

Ive managed to get it boot a few times now at 2667mhz, actually it boots up fine in windows at 2606 mhz and just 1.5v...however heavy applications crashed at once then with 1.6v it was prime95 stable

but its far from prime95 stable at 2667mhz...even with 1.7v :(

perhaps at 1.75v it prime95 stable...but thats was the voltage that killed my 1.8a after a few months

with 1.7v in bios, idle voltage is about 1.75
