nooooo, not that kind of bacon, baking in blender, sorry about that, but I did get you to look.
I'm fallowing A tutorial by Olav3D and he states that his data bake took 51 minutes using A 2080 super.
I'm baking the same data on A 9600K in the same amount of time which tells me he's not baking on his gpu.
Has anybody heard of baking on their gpu?
do you know how to make it bake on the gpu?
I have put it in this section because my rig is linux.
My rig is, 9600K, gtx 1060, zorin 12 operating system (ubuntu 16.04) and blender 2.82a.

So, so far no body knows about baking data and mesh in blender?
Not to worry, I have searched and searched and I have heard back from two blender pros it's all cpu, but if you find something please post A link.
Post A link to bacon, we all LOVE bacon.
