sounblaster audigy
gainward geforce 3 ti 200

running latest drivers (det 28x), windows xp

I only got about 7054 3d marks :(

My friend on an athlon 1700 and a pny gf3 ti 200 got about 7300

I don't know why its so dismal :(

Can anyone offer help?

My card is clocked at 220 core / 472 mem.

I have a pretty similar setup to you and I only get about 6800 in 3DMark2001. My graphics card is not overclocked though.

Defrag the harddrive, make sure all quality settings are on low and make sure you have the latest and or best drivers for the video card and motherboard.
