I've recently started using the ASUS Probe software that came with my motherboard to moniter it's condition. Lately, I've been showing severe power drops in the 5v and 3v ranges, but I don't notice any obvious problems in performance.
Is the ASUS Probe software reliable? The power supply is only a couple of month's old, granted it was a cheapy. (400w)
Should I be getting concerned about this?
Any input would be nice.

What do the voltages drop to? Did you check in the bios and perhaps with MBM5 to see how close they are? And which version of Probe are you using. I personaly had problems with the latest version... everything was off. Might just be off a little.

Some asus boards had problems with monitoring voltges,
My CUSL2 was always screwed up.
There was problems with the voltage, then when the voltage was correct, it had problems monitoring them, gave bad readings.
Mother board monitor was always acruate ~~

They would say 0.xxx on the 3v and very low on the 5v.(can't remember exactly)
The 2v core voltage would drop too. I've been reading some posts in the motherboard section too, and I'm starting to think that it's the ASUS Probe that has a problem.
Can MBM5 and ASUS Probe be run at the same time to check the differences?
AT those voltage drops I would think the system would shut down from literally no voltage.

I myself have had problems when running both... usually asus probe will pop up a message saying something about LMcontrol or something... and ALL sensors will be at 0.
