i have a feeling those reading temps are not very accurate, you really can only base it on the stock temps
 
the stock heatsink that came with your Barton is completely different from mine.... I'm running at 2 GHz @ 1.675 vcore and my temps are 41 idle, 45 load, and that's with the stock HSF.

mine is differnet in the way that is has fewer fins, but they are bigger, the fan isn't as high, and there is a big, solid metal (aluminum?) plate screwed onto the buttom of the fins, (instead of it being all one peice like the older ones)
