Anyway, the most popular is the Desert Combat Mod (DC) which mods the game to the Gulf War Era, quite a fun mod, check it out.

me too!...ive had the game for a few months but my firewall didnt like gamespy so i never got to play online till today...the single player sucks though.

IMO, DC is the only really good BF1942 mod... There are others that are alright, but DC pwnz them all.

yes DC is the best BF1942 mod i've found, theres also EOD(Eve of Destruction) whish is very fun, but its dose't have many servers to play on:/
