You shouldnt have to worry at all
that is a great board made by Abit, great product, very well know
so, like i said you shouldnt have a problem with anything

It's a BX chipset man - they are compatible with anything. For some reason, early Abit boards with Highpoint controllers had some problems, but those should have been ironed out by now. I've had no issues with the Highpoint on my Soyo BX board.

Compatibility issues are a problem with VIA chipsets, not the good old BX.

Ditto. I've got an early rev 1 board and have gone from a PII-350 to a PIII-550e @ 733 to a PIII-700 @ 954. The only problem I've had was with the HighPoint 66 controler, but I flashed the BIOS and now ALL is good. Just need better cooling so I can get past a gig.
