Went to the Abit site and saw there is a BE6-11V2.0 it says the V2.0 supports 1GHZ and the BE6-11 only goes to 800MHZ, I just orderd a board a couple days ago wonder wich one ill get? I cant find the specific V2.0 for sale? They all are listed as BE6-11,s will the BE6-11 support a 1GHZ? THANKS

That's pure cooperate lying crap inorder to get people to buy the more expensive Rev2. I have a BE6-II Rev1.2 - the one with an Ultra/66 HPT370 controller. With the latest bios revision, I have a selection for a 1GHz PIII. As far as I know, the only different between the Rev 1.2 and 2.0 is the fact that the 2.0 has an Ultra/100 controller. It's been awhile since I've checked the specs, but I believe that is the only difference. I currently run my BE6-II in my NT4 box and it runs great.

I wouldn't suggest putting a Geforce 2 Ultra into the BE6-II motherboards, the mobo couldn't supply enough power apparently. My USB mouse wobbled really bad, and several other misc. things happened.

Check out this link in Abit's BIOS updates section:

Bios Rev. UJ supports the following:

Adds support for Celeron II CPU 633 MHz and up to 700MHz
Adds support for P3 CPUs up to 1GHz (133MHz FSB).

Rev2 of the BE6-II also has built in support of RAID 0 +1. Its a darn fine motherboard...

Well, I wouldn't entirely call it crap. What has my underoos all in a bind is that I have a BE6 2 v 1.2 and even after just recently flashing my bios, it still only reads as supporting a 700. I just built my sister in law a system and I put a new BE6 2 v 2.0 in hers, and her bios reads support up to 1 gig. If I wasn't such a damn do gooder, I might have swapped the mobos around. :) What is even more confusing is the fact that the Abit site says v 1.2 supports a 800, but my mobo manual and my updated bios say different.....
