First off, where does the probe wire go on the CPU? On that window looking part on the side away from the fan?

Second, how do I OC it? I tried just setting it to 100*5 and the reboot complained. Then Motherboard monitor reported it as 656 or something but a reboot into the bios had it back at 233. There are quite a few options in that soft menu!

I'll read the manual tonight so I can begin to make sense of all this. Is there a faq for this somewhere?

This is an original BE6, not the 2. Thanks for any help.

the temp sensor goes on the base of your heatsink. the only way to overclock it is to up the fsb. go into softmenu and try upping the fsb a little higher than 100. just to get the hang of it. then hit F10 to save. read your manual for more info on it. also, you said that it booted at 233 once? look at your motherboard and make sure that all of your dip switches are "off". i had the same 233 booting prob. hope you have fun with that 450. ill have my 350@450 soon
