benchmarks

1) Sisoft Sandra 2002. Get it at www.downlowad.com Its got 859 in the file name, make sure you get that and not the older version 2001te with the 811 in the file name.

2) from www.madonion.com : PCmark 2002... brand new and maybe still some bugs in it. Also the mother of all video benchmarks- 3dmark2001se for benching your video performance.

I find to check Stabilty, I would use SETi/[email protected]/Prime to check it under stress.

Another check I do to check an overclock is play a DVD using a software played, I find it stress's the CPU and checks that your IDE/SCSII drives work ok.

For stability testing run 3dmark2001se and sandra for a few hours to check stability. These are also the two most common bechmarks used.

I would also recommend that you look at [email protected] - see the [email protected] forum, email/PM me or see http://folding.stanford.edu
