easily the best all onboard mobo is anything using the Nforce chipset
dont know if it will fit under your budget (well worth the extra)

if not choose something with the KM / KL 133 chipset

Thanks, I'm looking at the MSI K7N420 at the moment, I might look at something a little higher in price if this board stinks.

You could get a real nice pcchips board with integrated sound/lan,video/56 modem for about $55. ;) j/k I agree with druidelder the msi board with the new nforce chipset is the best although I haven't heard great things about the chipset. I think abit and asus also make these boards so you could take a look at those.

The Soyo Dragon +. I think I got mine for around $130. It might be pricy, but it's really good. Integrated Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, optical and coaxial inputs and outputs. Integrated networking. Mine also came with a "Smart Card Reader" which also had 2 more USB ports in it. This fits into a 3.5" slot.
The integrated network port comes in handy if you're on DSL or Cable for the external modem. That way you don't have go out and buy a NIC.

You can change the FSB from 133-233MHz.

It also looks really cool with the black PCB and the purple PCI slots.
I love my Dragon+!!!

Other than this, I've heard that the Shuttle AK31 v3.1 is a good board, also. When I was shopping for mobos, I was actually considering this, but I decided that the Soyo was probably just better, after reading several review. (Tom's Hardware has a good one. It'll be under the "mainboards" section; can't remember the exact url)

Good luck!

A7V333 is in my opinion the best board. i have used soyo, msi, and asus. asus is always the best. The a7v333 not only give you the features you want but also RAID,ATA133,USB 2.0,IEEE-1394 (firewire). Asus is the best overclocker and also the most stable with the best drivers. MSI are very close to asus they run well too. Soyo is a good board, but i dont know if this is a soyo thing or just my board, my sensors are really ****ed up, i get totally wrong temps and voltage is always reporting lower than what it is.
