Im building my younger brother a computer and Im planning on goin with a Abit Nfs 2.0 board I was wondering what kind of RAM I should get. Im planning on just goin with PC2700 since Ill be getting a Barton as well. Ive read that 333Mhz RAM will run better with 333Mhz CPU true? false? Plus there will be little to no OCing on this system (Chose the Abit for the ability to upgrade, sound and overall stock speed performance)

Anyway what is the best company to go with. Im running an Asus A7N8x dlx with just a single stick of Corsair 3200 at the moment (soon to be dual).

Im planning on only spending a rough 35-40 dollars a stick.
Advice would be good Links would be even greater. thanks

Other then that would the NF7s be the best Nforce 2 board to go with? MSI has one I have the Asus any others???

probably consider the kingston but the 8rda + doesnt support nearly enough features to justify the cheap price. i think i m goin with the NF7+ unless somebody lets me know anything else. Also the Kingston might not work for me cause of the compatibility issue with abit rev 2 boards.

The Kingston issue is with the Kingston PC3500 Hyper X only...And definetly go with a NF7-S rev 2.0 over a 8RDA+...or you might want to check out the 8RGA+...
